Quote of the Day: Diaa Mohamed

Islam doesn't have a problem, and anyone who says it does is a WACIST!!

Islam doesn’t have a problem, and anyone who says it does is a WAYCIST!!

Diaa Mohamed is the founder of the Australian Muslim Party, and is clearly going to be as much use as a chocolate teapot in tackling Islamic extremism.

With a perfectly straight face, Mohamed says the following in The Australian today, in response to Josh Frydenburg’s unusually honest and obviously highly controversial assessment that Islamic terrorism does, in fact, have something to do with Islam:

[Mohamed] slammed Mr Frydenberg’s comments as “irresponsible and careless”.

“I find it offensive that someone could question my faith and say it needs to be reformed or looked at,” Mr Mohamed said. “It’s somewhat of an uneducated comment. Islam has no problem, it has never had a problem over the last 1400 or so odd years.

Actually, he’s right. Islam doesn’t have a problem – it’s very happy subjugating, marauding, beheading, raping, murdering and pillaging its way through the past 1,400 years of history.

Unfortunately, it’s the rest of us that have the problem – and that problem, unsurprisingly, is with Islam.

Quote of the Day

Juanita Phillips reporting on the Canadian sudden jihad syndrome on the 7pm news:

“Chaos in the heart of Canada’s democracy, as a man in black, described as mentally ill and a radical Muslim convert, opens fire in Ottawa’s parliament building.”

Mentally ill and a radical Muslim convert? Either alone would have been sufficient – to use both is tautology.

Quote of the Day

Classic line from Prof Tormey, discussing the French burqa ban with Ben Fordham on 2GB. I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry.

FORDHAM: I was surprised to hear a number of young women saying ‘Oh, no, I feel confronted.’ [by the burqa]

TORMEY : Well, I mean, as your previous speaker said, she felt confronted by the sight of Tony Abbott in a pair of budgie smugglers
