It is a good try, but as with all other attempts to make Islam look different from what it really is, it fails. [Read more…]
What race is Islam again?
Utterly disgusting response to the Paris terrorist attacks from the ‘Grand’ Mufti of Australia, who lays the blame for those vicious and barbaric atrocities at the feet of everyone except the Muslim community and Islamic ideology:
These recent incidents highlight the fact that current strategies to deal with the threat of terrorism are not working. It is therefore imperative that all causative factors such as racism, Islamophobia, curtailing freedoms through securitisation [completely the wrong word, by the way – Ed], duplicitous foreign policies and military intervention must be comprehensively addressed.
The Mufti is too dense to realise that any ‘Islamophobia’ that exists (and it rarely does exist) arises directly from incessant daily litany of Islamic terrorist acts, which have been going on pretty much since the 7th Century.
But from the Mufti’s clouded and blinkered perspective, Islam is perfect, so it cannot possibly be at fault. Anything bad that happens cannot be the result of any wrongdoing by Muslims, and therefore he looks everywhere else to find a cause – except in a mirror.
The rest of us civilised people are thoroughly sick of Islam and the perpetual whining and bleating from this highly over-privileged and under-achieving group, and this kind of patronising, pompous and sanctimonious lecturing just makes it ten times worse.
The West’s phobia of a barbaric, supremacist, medieval political ideology that wants to see us dead is a natural response and is entirely justified.
Oh, and if you’re waiting for those protests from ‘moderate’ Muslims condemning the attacks…
What a surprise (not). Wouldn’t it be a refreshing change if Muslims leaders actually came out and supported such actions?
Little chance of that.
All we get, as expected, is the usual whinging and whining from Muslim leaders. Demanding consultation, like the privileged group Muslims believe they are, it would be the same as discussing reforms to the law with the local criminal community.
But this isn’t surprising. Muslims are brought up from birth to believe they are superior to their infidel overlords in every possible respect, so obviously it is perplexing to them why the kuffar government isn’t telegraphing every single decision to the Islamic community and seeking ‘agreement’ before they take action.
Here we go, fasten your seatbelts:
New South Wales Premier Mike Baird has been criticised for not mentioning tough new counter-terrorism laws at a meeting with Muslim community leaders held in Sydney, hours before the announcement.
Mr Baird and NSW Police Minister Troy Grant announced on Monday night they had written to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull pushing for tougher national security laws in the wake of the fatal shooting at NSW Police Headquarters at Parramatta on October 2.
Teenage gunman Farhad Jabar shot dead police accountant Curtis Cheng soon after attending the Parramatta Mosque a few blocks away.
But Silma Ihram from the Muslim Women’s Association said community leaders, including the Grand Mufti of Australia and the chairman of Parramatta Mosque, should have been briefed about the plan when they attended a meeting at the Premier’s office in Sydney just hours earlier.
“I think it’s very unfortunate. When you go to consultation, you expect there’s going to be the opportunity to hear what the Government’s going to do before they do it,” Ms Ihram said.
“It certainly took us by surprise, especially since they were announced shortly after the meeting.
“We don’t believe they are going to be beneficial to Australian society as a whole and it certainly is going to feed straight into the narrative of Daesh (another name for Islamic State)… so it’s really a major problem and it’s going to make things worse, unfortunately.”
Nothing the filthy kuffar does will ever please the Muslim community, so why bother trying?
In Islam, devoutness ≡ radicalisation, so stop expecting Muslim leaders to drive an Islamic reformation
That symbol, ≡ , which looks like an equals sign with three lines, is a mathematical expression that means ‘is identical to’.
Western governments have not worked out that in Islam, devoutness is indeed identical to radicalisation, and therefore still believe they must get Islamic leaders and imams onside in order to ‘tackle’ radicalisation. [Read more…]
This is the quality we attract, everyone!
Come and join Islamic State, and associate with people like… er, this? WTF?
An Islamic State (IS) recruit declared the “white jihadi” by the British media last year has been identified as an 18-year-old Melbourne boy called Jake by Fairfax Media.
In December, a photo of Jake kneeling in front of an Islamic State flag with a rifle in his hands was circulated via social media.
At the time he was wrongly identified as being British and was labelled the “white jihadi” by some media outlets.
He’d make an albino look bronzed… [Read more…]
Great, just what Australia needs right now, a Federal Police Commissioner who looks at the Lindt Cafe siege, and says it had ‘nothing to do with Islam’. Great appointment, Tony. Where do they find them?
At least when he is beheaded by an Australian jihadi, he can be thankful and proud that he was never ‘racist’.
The Martin Place siege was about “criminals doing terrible things” and is not an issue for Islam or Australia’s Muslim community, the federal police commissioner, Andrew Colvin, has said in his first official speech.
The media have got it all wrong – for a change. What a surprise.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the other hand, has got it right. Speaking of ‘moderate Islam’, he said:
“These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.”
There are many rather mindless memes about the current Islamic State (IS) crisis making their way around social media at the moment, but this one caught my eye because it attempts to downplay the threat from IS by equating it with the Ku Klux Klan (see image on right).
This comparison is false on so many levels, but primarily because the KKK was mainly concerned with advocating discrimination against African-Americans rather than encouraging a wholesale overthrow of a particular way of life.
Get used to it, because it’s going to be around for a long time.
This new Australia is one in which, at anytime, anywhere, a random Muslim may decide to ‘go Jihad’ and shoot a tourist, behead a random stranger, bomb a plane, blow up a commuter train, suicide bomb a bar, or any number of other atrocities [stab policemen, even], without warning and without regard for the consequences.
There are half a million Muslims in Australia, the overwhelming majority of whom are peaceful and who have integrated well with our Western way of life. However, if even as little as 0.1% of them (1 in a thousand) have sympathies with Islamic State, then we have 500 potential jihadis in our midst.
I have faith in ASIO, the AFP and the other security services that they are already keeping tabs on the majority of these likely targets, but the risk comes from the wealthy, well-educated, nice Lebanese boy next door who has never been in trouble, but who one day turns into a lone wolf and commits a terrorist act in the name of his religion.
Having lived in the UK during the 70s and 80s, I am well acquainted with the restrictions on life that a terrorist threat may impose. During those decades, there was always the threat of mainland attacks by the Irish Republican Army (IRA), and we were used to seeing rubbish bins sealed up or removed, suspicion of any unattended bags on public transport, security checks at public buildings etc.
But we got used to it, and life continued. To do otherwise would be a victory for the terrorists.
So be alert – take notice of your surroundings when out in public. Don’t be afraid to ask “Whose bag is this?” if you are suspicious – people will appreciate your vigilance. Involve the police or security services if you have any concerns about a neighbour or friend.
Finally, a note to Muslims: enough already of the victim mentality. We don’t want to hear any more about it, OK? You are not the victims here. Just get onside with the rest of us and help defeat this threat.
UPDATE: The Islamic Council of Victoria has demanded an enquiry, but not into the reasons for why an 18 year old Muslim thinks it’s OK to follow the instructions of Islamic State and stab two policemen in broad daylight for being ‘disbelievers’, but to why the man was shot by police… the press release also asks why the Australian government failed to deal with the man’s ‘alienation’ …
The Melbourne ‘man’ shot dead by police was simply following the instructions for martyrdom from Islamic State, which in turn are only following instructions from the Qur’an:
If you are not able to find an IED [improvised explosive device] or a bullet, then single out the disbelieving American, Frenchman, or any of their allies. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him. Do not lack. Do not be contemptible. Let your slogan be, “May I not be saved if the cross worshipper and taghūt (ruler ruling by manmade laws) patron survives.”
If you are unable to do so, then burn his home, car, or business. Or destroy his crops.
If you are unable to do so, then spit in his face. If your self refuses to do so, while your brothers are being bombarded and killed, and while their blood and wealth everywhere is deemed lawful by their enemies, then review your religion. You are in a dangerous condition because the religion cannot be established without walā’ and barā’.
Let’s hope the ‘man’ is presently in the company of his 72 virgins, as promised by Allah for an act of martyrdom, since it would be a terrible shame if Islam was all make-believe, there was no paradise, no virgins and no Allah, and he sacrificed his one and only life in this universe for absolutely nothing.
And don’t forget, this has nothing to do with Islam.
