Automobile Jihad, as required by Islamic State

Auto jihad

“If you are not able to find an IED or a bullet, then single out the disbelieving American, Frenchman, or any of their allies. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him. Do not lack. Do not be contemptible. Let your slogan be, ‘May I not be saved if the cross worshipper and taghūt (ruler ruling by manmade laws) patron survives.'” Islamic State, September 2014

This Canadian convert had an attack of sudden jihad syndrome, and seeing two soldiers walking by the road, followed the Islamic State’s suggestion to ‘run them over with your car’. But don’t forget, despite the convert’s Facebook page being filled with Islamic propaganda, this has nothing to do with Islam. Got it?

The Australian reports:

A SUSPECTED Islamic radical yesterday ran down two Canadian soldiers in his car in an apparent terrorist attack, inflicting fatal injuries on one and wounding the other before he was shot dead by police.

Martin Couture Rouleau, 25, ran over the two soldiers in a shopping centre carpark shortly before noon 3am (AEDT) in the city of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, 40km south-east of Montreal, before fleeing with police in pursuit.

After about 4km Rouleau lost control of his car and flipped into a ditch on the side of the road.

A witness said the driver was holding a knife and headed toward police after he extricated himself from his vehicle.

Police shot multiple times at the 25-year-old Muslim convert who died a few hours later.

One of the soldiers died in hospital last night of his wounds while the other was not seriously wounded.

An official familiar with the case said Rouleau was influenced by radical Islamists.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police spokesman David Falls said earlier that the suspect “was known to federal authorities” and “authorities were concerned that he had become radicalised”. (source)

Yesterday’s moderate is today’s extremist…
